hello civilisation,
you have been treating me very well with the sight of traffic lights, mrt trains, taxis and also the wonderful world of technology and telecommunications.
thank you so much.
i hope i get the chance to spend more time out of a deserted island so far away sometimes singtel doesnt even get any signals..
in any case,
after one more book out next friday,
i will try and tear as if im gonna miss the island of misery and injuries - pulau tekong.
december 9th it shall not be just mum's burthday but it will also be a day to remember.
my pass out parade, that is.
heh
looking back as how things have changed over the past ten odd weeks is rather amazing, really.
i am surprised how far i have come,
like i am almost done with the first phase of military life.
i hope things will turn out for the better when i get my vocation posting.
i have expressed many interest anything non-combat related and non-infantry related.
wish me luck.
i need loads of it.
will pray to jesus, guanyinma, allah and lord krishnan later..
i am very looking forward to the upcoming post BMT holidays trips planned.
the year's incomplete without making a trip to bangkok, is it?
managed to squeeze bali in somewhere there as well..
hee
okayy, 'nuff of military shit.
in case you havent realised,
lady gaga's the fame monster has arrived.
the 'bad romance'/'speechless' performance on the american music awards was once again,
freakishly awesome.
no words can describe how much i am in love with this hot ladeee.
i also cannot wait for my copy of the album to sit in my mailbox next week?
heh
i have already bought myself the post BMT prezzie.
i'm so good to myself..
okay, clock is ticking too fast.
need to start packing for book in later..
last but not least,
happy birthday to our favourite big headed lump of hair - jasmine fang!
she turns 21 today!!
like.. finally?
ha ha
no wait,
amalina is not even 20 right?

unwritten, cant read my mind.
so it's been five weeks since i enlisted into t-e-k-o-n-g.
i must say..
it's quite hard to believe you constantly being pushed around and for every little you do wrong,
you get punished.
like when bedsheets are not tucked in to the 'standard' or when clothes are hung on the hooks beside the cupboard.
or when you slow down on the morning run.
insanity if you asked me.
besides all these crap nonsense about the negative side of all the army stuff,
i must say that there are some pretty good stuff too.
my bunkmates and platoon mates are pretty cool.
and our morale are the highest on thursdays and fridays.
cause it's book out day! hahaha
in any case,
the basic trainfire package (aka live firing) was rather a shock and was indeed fun.
the recoil from the rifle was so hard it gave a few of my platoon mates brusies on their arms!
hahaha
and next up in under 2 weeks,
it's the highlight of the whole bmt - fieldcamp.
yes six days without showering and then another confinement.
wish me luck.
did i mention that i could be allergic to the tekong air and/or the sun there?
well, there's scientifically proven, alright?
hahaha
the dermatologist told me so anyways.
that seem like a pretty good thing!
and and and..
passing out on the 9th of december!
im counting down!!
heh
then it's off for 11 days!!
see you in koh samui and bangkok? heh
okayy, breakie time!
then off for a swim.
it's all about the healthy lifestyle now!
hee
happy weekend!

sing-sing-SINGAPOREEEEE!
hello you.
hello to you and you and you too.
im back home, for at least another three months.
will be tied down with the term 'national serviceman' for the next two years as of,
next monday.
i am not particularly super excited about it
neither am i dreading it.
all i want is to get it over with and carry on with my life.
many things need to be brought with me before 'the day' but hey,
my heart's been prepared, maybee?
haha
and so i have been told that since my trip to taiwan,
i have only been kept in singapore for one weekend.
which turned out to be true!
fyi, im not rich.
air asia is just dirt cheap.
heh heh
so sydney sydneyy.
where should i begin.
hotel was great.
prime location, five star, boutique cum business.
i like it, no i love it, really.
the sydney opera house and the habour bridge were indeed very pretty.
koala bears were the cutest thing EVER!!
blue mountains - three sisters, katoomba, leura and glenbrook spells B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L!
wagamama is unforgetably delicious and
oxford street's dodgy.
when i say dodgy,
please include the words 'sleezy' and 'scary' as well please?
an eye-opener indeed!
brian told me if i thought sydney was bad,
london and san franscisco are worst.
shopping was great.
having to land at 6 and reach the city by 7,
hotel room's not ready for us as the night before it was fully booked,
we wandered around for breakfast and then started shopping.
and by 11 when the room was ready,
i already have picked up four pairs of shoes and two tees!
which in other words meant,
my luggage was full barely being in sydney for.. 5 hours?
heh heh
then again,
everything turned out fine.
picked up my first pair of levi's.
american apparel was rather disappointing but target and kmart were pleasing.
haha
and brian kept asking why did we keep ending up in supermarkets!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
did i mention that i got stalked, hugged and chased after by a freak?
follwed me into the bathroom,
suggested me to 'come over to his apartment'
and then insisted he give me two hugs.
seriouslyy,
i was so scared my balls shrunk so much i did not even notice their existence!
okayy,
sorry for the crude language
but i needed to express how scared i was..
so.. i assume you get the picture eh?
heh heh
comex at suntec was rather good.
netbooks were cheaper than i thought they will be but i wil decide on that again when i 'graduate' from the army in two years okay?
i bought myself a 500gb external hard disk.
not that i have that many things to store but the difference for 180gb was only 40 bucks anyways!
alrighty,
time to go for a shower then head off to bed.
i know right, im such an early sleeper! heh heh

yall gonna like it there.
yes yes yes
finally im updating this space.
have been sorta neglecting this space cause i havent been online.
the past week's been pretty exciting.
went to kl and penang for a good 6 days.
i spent my 21st in kl and it was really really awesome
rather than having all the big parties of the 21st celebrations.
i think i'm a pretty lonely person.
yeah, i am.
penang was really cool and it was really an eye opener for me to see many different things and i would definitely be back!
penang's best chicken rice is indeed the best!
even singapore's standard is not even there.
heh
be sure to try fatty loh chicken rice if you are visiting penang.
lady boss may eu is a great and hospitable person!
she's even got a facebook account!!
hee
the little nonya filming location was also the other most memorable highlight from the trip!
sean and i spent close to three hours in a mansion!
and it was very educational!
so thick the peranakan culture.
the GAGA concert was P H E N O M E N A L ! ! ! !
i absolutely love it.
still cannot believe the fact that i went to her concert!
everyone who went would prolly agree with me.
despite her being so tired,
the show was still NUMBER ONE!!
ha ha
trust me!
i cant wait for her to come back for another concert!
in other news,
i have received the enlistment letter.
i will be waving goodbye to my freedom and pack my stuff and head out into the jungle - pulau tekong to be specific if you ask.
i am extremely upset.
cause i have exactly 30 days to prepare myself before that happens.
looking on the bright side,
no, wait,
there is no bright side to this.
my saturday's ruined cause of that.
then again..
it's not something i can run away from eh..
okayy, i have decided to be fine and party so hard these 30 days!
ha ha
im also upset that my new york trip has gotta be postponed!

歡迎來到台湾
so here i am in taiwan.
got on the plane from terminal 3.
sq flights never fail to put a smile on our faces.
there is this one flight stewardess who was the sweetest.
you know when she smile it's not one of those fake ones.
and she was really kind attentive and helpful.
i give her five stars.
ha ha
anyways
the flight was good.
five hours or so passed by pretty quickly.
watched the lady gaga live in london special and hannah montana movie.
ha ha
and just i was getting onto the climax of confessions of a shopaholic,
the in flight entertainment ended cause we were about to land.
but indeed it was a good flight.
r, i agree that travis is cute.
and damn i cried just before she sang 'the climb'.
:(
anyway anyways,
the food here in taiwan seriously live up to the standard of what i've heard from people.
they are not only good.
they are DAMN good.
ha ha
we had dim sum for dinner last night and it was really good.
even the mcdonald's chicken wings were awesome.
and did i mention even the cup noodles are so good too?
little things in life that make us smile.
ha ha
i wonder what's in stalled for us today.
heh heh
touristy spots and hot spring for today.
but the weather aint looking that good.
i know i wanna have bubble tea today!
HA HA!
okay, time to get ready.
no wait,
the other two are sleeping!!
here's some pictures!!
bye singapore, for now. :)

sweetdream or a beautiful nightmare
so the first lesson with the six kids were really awesome.
apparently
when i told them it was almost time and told them to clean up,
the cheekiest one told me
'teeecher i still want to do another one!'
then when i told shitong,
he was shocked.
ha ha
it made me happy seeing how both classes enjoyed theirselves.
their parents were really awesome.
so artistically inclined.
im proud of the future of singapore.
heh heh
in any case
i am flying.
mentally.
and before i hear anything from the "client" about whether or not my works have been chosen to be commissioned,
another came along.
and this time around,
the "client" is more exciting.
hee
we shall skip the details.
all i can say is
i am on cloud nine and im pretty sure the cloud is gonna give way anytime cause i am jumping up and down.
heh
chicken wing is on hold now.
like on a fortnight hold.
bribri on green light,
as according to rischka!
ha ha
looking forward to seeing arroy again!!
taiwan on fri through tuesday!
then kuala lumpur for the weekend!
langkawi on third week of august!
where's bali and bangkok?
HA HA!
